Problem sending newsletter

Another that i have ONLY when i trying to send NEWSLETTER to REGULAR MEMBERS ( with all others my gropus work) with REGULAR MEMBERS not work, nothing appear, i choice REGULAR MEMBERS after i select send as personal message and finally i write message to send, click button SEND but nothing appear and window return back to admin panel.

Some solution for fix this ?

Many MODS but every work pefectly without errors log
No specific error related this i see

Have you selected Enable Mail Queue in your mail settings?

But all other attempts to send it to smaller groups works without issue?

1° NOT enabled, i must enable it? what happen with this function enabled?
2° for every other groups smal or big work

Well Regular Members will most likely be your largest membergroup, involving the majority of your forums members.  The size of this group usually means the sending mail server has issues.  Though I'm sure it usually returns some kind of error message in the error logs though when it runs into that kind of issue.  So I'm surprised something isn't being returned.

What is the mail method you are using? phpmail or SMTP?

It's in Maintenance > Mail > Browse Queue.

Well I'd speak to your host then, and check their phpmail restrictions.  They are most likely the reason why the large group/s are not working.  Then try SMTP and see if that solves the issue better.  But after speaking to your host and any per/hour limits set the queue.

Just getting into this myself due to siteground issues. What does the mail Q do?

As the name implies, it creates a mail queue that only sends out a set amount of mails per hour.  So as to better control flooding and/or host restrictions to mass mails.

Then in 2.0 that needs to be check if you're selecting a limit on the emails per hour
