I have quite a few child boards in a particular forum...

I was wondering if it would be possible to instead of the forums being displayed vertically, can they be displayed horizontally? It would save me alot of valuable screen space.

Thanks much again,
blue

[PS: Remember that I have no problem editing database or php entries in your response.]

You mean, all of the boards?  So, everything shown like child boards are?

Or do you mean in cells with two columns?

No, actually, I meant a new column for each of the child boards [when viewing the parent.] I have 7 forums ABOVE a 'general chatter' forum. It would be a bit much to see 7 large rows [with 3 lines of text each] before viewing any of the topics in the chatter forum.

Thanks much,

Heh, my confusion came from your use of "vertically" and "horizontally" - I still don't understand what you want, though.

Anyway, whatever changes you want to make are most likely possible.  Do you mean:

Parent Board          ##     ##     Last post
Child Board        ##     ##     Last post
Child Board        ##     ##     Last post

Amacythe

Is what you're referring to by chance:

Admin Control Panel>Current Theme Settings>Enable Inline Links

That's almost exactly what I'm trying to do.  To help our organization, I'm closing the parent board to posts and using the child boards, so I need to do the opposite of what it looks like right now.
Parent Board
Child Board        ##     ##     Last post
Child Board        ##     ##     Last post

It's more like creating a sub-category than child boards.  I'm about to start looking, but anyone pointing me in the right direction would be most appreciated.
