[REQUEST] Live Feed - Ajax?

I would like an ajax like update box similar to the "Live Feed" found on facebook.

Ideally, i'll probably use a TP Block but just seeing if it is functionally possible.

It turns out those sites are made with a "Social Network" engine system such as Dolphin.

There are examples of bridges around so it is a case of waiting for SMF2.0 to be briged into them.
