SSI topicNews for 2.0

I used this mod when I had version 1.1.x, but now that I have 2.0 rc1-1, it will not work.

IS there a mod for the 2.0... I really liked using it for my website... I want on my site to show certain posts, and stay static until I change the website to point to a different thread.

Or even better yet... is there a mod that can pull from a very specific post within a thread (and thus linking to it too... like a ...readmore...link)

I have searched and searched, but I only know of the SSI with the 'news' feature... but I don't want it to be changing all the time...
