SMF 2.00 rc1-1 glitch on database.Plssssssssss help!!!!!!!!

Hey guys i have a forum and my host disappeared so now i am only left with a backup of my database.So [nofollow] here comes the glitch: When i was restoring my database i found that only the first 400 posts were there and the rest 800 gone. So i would like someone to please help me in solvng this problem.

Do you mean that the rest are simply not in the backup file, or did you receive an error so the restore failed, but the data exists?
Do you have other backups?
