'Invalid IP address' error (Solved)

Hi,

I recently converted my forum to a smf test board. When I try to track some IPs with some accounts, I get the following message: 'Invalid IP address. Note that only asterisks (*) are allowed as masks, e.g. 127.0.*.*'

The IPs do appear to have been transfered successfully in the transfer, and appear in the posts. Any ideas of what's causing this?

What did you convert from and when you use the track feature, what is the url that appears in the address bar?

I converted from YaBB 1.3.2. The url that appears is: http:[..............]test/index.php?action=profile;u=170;sa=trackIP

Sometimes information might not make it through the conversion. Try searching for said IPs after you _know_ that a user has been on from that IP and posted a message.

I can understand that, but the information is there from some posts, but not others. I'll try another conversion in case there was some kind of glitch.

And this is just testing. I do want to be able to use this function with old posts when I convert properly to a smf forum.

Yeah, but by accident! 

The information is there, but I guess it has to be activated by the member visiting. I wonder if this can be resolved in the conversion process or not?

Anyway, the information does get through, it just needs good kick before it can start being accessed!
