Change the way you tell the user they need a subject

Instead of telling the user to go back after they forget to fill out the subject or body of their post or poll, why not show them the same page again with a note beside what they forgot telling them to fill it in? I know that my users lose their messages sometimes, and it makes them mad. I've even done it once or twice. Thanks!

Ummm... please try omitting the subject in a post.

What Uknown said is correct, bu why don't we get a lovely thing to tell us off for our misdeeds somewhere on the page? :P

Because I was lazy and couldn't think of a good way to represent it.

I just tried it and I see what means, it just goes back to the post screen again without any message to say why.
Please can we at least have an error message pop-up or something to tell the inexperienced users what they have omitted?

In the default theme, it shows the "Subject:" text in red.  Problem is, obviously, that text is not in this theme.
