I get this error message when trying to convert from phpbb3 to SMF 1.x

yes, that's a minor bug in convert.php .. the conversion is finished after:

I have a feeling that this bug is not "minor", since I just now reinstalled SMF and converted it again and I get the same error messages and as a result of that I have the exact same problem I had the first time:

When I click on a username (converted from phpbb) I get this error message:

The user whose profile you are trying to view does not exist.

On the last forum I installed (a couple day ago) there was this problem where users would log in, write a message and then notice that the message was in someone else's name. That's not what I call a "minor" bug...

I've already accepted the fact that the conversion went wrong and all users now need to re-register themselves.
