Major bug in maintenance mode

I can no longer do anything in my own forum. Changed to maintenance mode and every freaking time i try to do anything i get the message "Finalizing the forum. Please be patient. " wich is the message i chose to show in maintenance. Not even when im logged in as admin can i do anything.
Deleting forum and shutting down. I so tired of all the bugs. Thank you.

Told you, he's a troll. His only other posts are on the SMG topic and he basically says the same thing, "I love your mod, it's the best, but it sucks and I'm uninstalling it". Why would he uninstall SMG if he says elsewhere that he's going to uninstall SMF? The reverse is true, too.

I would, but i have been away for a while and yesterday i started all over and i just got the forum to where i wanted it after 24hours+ at tweaking and adding boards and more. And all of a sudden i cant even get acces to my own forum even when logged in as admin. A bug that shouldnt even happen. I'm just one of those morons that give up to quickly when bugs like this happen.

Nothing to do about it now. The forum is gone and deleted from my server. I'm sure ill be back but this project is on ice for now. I'm cooling down.

Side note:   There are two forms of Maintenance mode... one that allows Admins in and one that locks everyone out...

I find it unlikely this is a bug. As Kindred pointed out, there are two forms of maintenance, one that allows admins to do work on the forum, and one that forbids all access to the forum. The second is useful in the event one is doing a major upgrade (in which case the database is in the process of changing, that is not a good idea to do in the same time with some other admin), and also in the event of hacking.
You don't specify how you set the forum on maintenance, to know eventually which it is.

In any case, this is highly unlikely to be a bug, I am moving the topic to the Support forums, to 1.1.x since you don't specify the SMF version you were using.
