Hello!  :)

I'm running SMF 1.1.10

A member has requested for her account to be removed, as all account deletions must be approved by me first.

I saw the request in the admin section and went to her profile to send her a PM. Clicked on the "Send PM to user" link, composed the text and write the subject.

Thank I click "Send", and the username in the "To" field become all lowercase (she has upper and lower case letters on her username).

In red the following warning appears: "User was not found" (something like this, I'm not sure about the exact words).

I've tried over and over again, didn't work.

I than had to disapprove her account removal, back to her profile and repeat the all process. It worked and the message was sent.

So, is this a bug or what?

Many thanks in advance.

From the way I remember this, SMF shouldn't let you send pms to those awaiting deletion.

Actually it does as we discovered last week, and I think I mentioned in IRC.

Bah, I meant to flag this up as a bug - it does it on Charter RC2, certainly.

This has been resolved since the report - see the bug ticket itself for details.
