Adding Poll: before poll topics in the thread list?

I'm trying to get the topics for polls to read "(Poll) Foo" on the thread list, sort of like in vBulletin.

I've looked all over for where I could add this, but to no avail.   Can anyone point me to the right template(s)?


Or, better yet, make polls automatically use a message post icon.

I was able to get sticky and locked threads to display their respective titles before the thread title.   I used the below code, which I found on the forum.

Hello,

I have two quick questions (thought this would be better than starting a new topic):

1) Whereabouts should this be posted (I'm assuming messageindex.template.php -- but, where in that document specifically)?

2) Will this fix work in 1.1RC3? I don't THINK it will, because I don't see anything similar in the text to replace...

Actually, I managed to solve this!

I replaced this:

$topic['first_post']['link'], '</span>';

about halfway down, right before this:

// Is this topic new? (assuming they are logged in!)

With the code above (and some modifications) - and now, it all works beautifully!
