Newsletter function on 1.1.1.1. generates it own characters on delivery

I sent a newsletter to all the members (which I do weekly), and checking it today, I found this:

Administrator, Sch! oolAdvan cement.com

An exclamation point and two spaces were "added" to the last line of my signature.

I select the option to create the newsletter in html since, in the past, additional characters were added with the WYSIWYG option, and I thought that doing it in html would rectify the concern.

Just making you aware...

Can you please tell, do you have any mods installed?
To-do lists are for deferral. The more things you write down the later they're done... until you have 100s of lists of things you don't do.

Is this persisting in SMF 2.0.1? If not, this will not be fixed for SMF 1.1.
