Help with user registration errors.

For some reason, a few of my forums users have had trouble logging in after being gone for some time. I have fixed most by resetting the password and things are fine. However, I have one user who's username was deleted, that is now trying to sign up again.

He can't, because it gives a "username already in use" or "email already in use" message. How do i fix this so he can re-register with the same info?

Welcome to SMF.

So the user's account was deleted and now they are trying to register again with the same name?  The only reason he would get those errors is because a current member is using those details.  I'm afraid you are going to have to supply a bit more info for us to know what is occurring.
