SQL Error

Greetings,

I just attempted to upgrade from a brand new installation of 1.1.10 to 1.1.11. Maintenance mode was enabled and the initial installation of 1.1.10 was fine.

However, upon upgrading I received the following error:

Updating and creating indexes... Unsuccessful!
This query:
ALTER TABLE smf_smileys
ORDER BY LENGTH(code) DESC;
Caused the error:
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '(code) DESC' at line 2

I have no idea how to fix this and any help would be greatly appreciated. The other upgrades were "Successful".

Gotcha, will do! I did not find a post addressing another question I have in response to an earlier reply:

Should I modify both files given my particular error?

I.e., edit "upgrade_1-1.sql" and "/Sources/ManageSmileys.php" as stated below?

"The second way to resolve this for upgrading is to open "upgrade_1-1.sql" with a text editor and find the following:

For editing smileys in the Smileys and Message Icons section of your admin panel, open "/Sources/ManageSmileys.php" with a text editor and find the following code:"
