Mod Approval Procedure: How does it work?

Hi,

I've submitted a mod a few days ago, it was the Static Page Mod, see: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=36094.0

Since then, I've heard nothing.
That's completely OK, I know that everyone here at SMF does support SMF in spare time, does not have much time left, etc.

I just would like to know how such an approval works. And whether I need to provide some additional information or not.

I've found nothing here regarding how the approval works. Therefore I'm asking.
If you tell me: "oh, well, this can take up to 4 weeks", then that's no problem for me. I just would like to know

Generally, someone looks it over roughly and approves it just so not anything gets posted.

Right now, the Lead Mod Developer isn't available as much as we'd like.

Meanwhile, the aforementioned mod has been approved, so all in all the approval was pretty quick, although the Lead Mod Developer isn't available much.
