Quotes not working

Hi there

I have SMF 1.1.11 (although until recently I have 1.1.6 and had the same problem) and quotes are not working. If you click the quote button it just shows the green "loading..." bar at the top and it just stays there.

Haven't installed any modes recently to trigger this so any ideas what it may be?

It is the default theme but I've made some changes but they were all made way before this started happening.

I can't even find the option to turn off quick reply?!

It's a "Profile" thing.

Ok have disabled it but would like a more permanent fix if possible.

Anyone have any further suggestions I could try? I've looked through the threads above but haven't had any luck.

Check to make sure you have the Xml.template.php file in your default theme directory.  Make sure it does not have a size of 0.  If it does, extract a fresh copy from the large upgrade pack and replace that file.
