In my forum hyperlinks in posts are similar color to text (dark blue vs black) and thus aren't easy for some members to detect and thus click on.

Member's can change the colour of their hyperlink's text using the drop down "Change Color" button but they normally don't.

I've searched the forum for an answer, the closest is this thread for SMF 1.1, I'm using SMF2.0 RC2, thus this new thread.

Question: Can I edit a file to change the color, (preferably just for hyperlinks in posts, not for all hyperlinks on a forum), and if so what do I edit?

Thanks for your advice!

I'm sure you can follow the same advice TE gave you, however, instead of looking for style.css, look for index.css

The very first thing you find is:

/* Normal, standard links. */
a:link, a:visited
{
color: #346;
text-decoration: none;
}

just change the color attribute there.

Thanks!

Solved, although it is global, not just hyperlinks in threads as per the original SMF 1.1 thread linked above.

How can I change the color just for post message links? Not menu and everything else?
