updating or converting modules to 1.1.11

Since so many modules are being developed for the RC not the actually released version of SMF I was thinking I could revert or upgrade some of them. I am a fairly good coder but mostly work within Drupal.

What do I need to look for in upgrading modules from say 1.1.9 to 1.1.11

or downgrading a mod from 2.x to 1.1.11

If you want to be upgrading or backporting mods for SMF, you have to have a fairly decent understanding of how SMF works. I would suggest reading the online manual, functions database, and studying the code a bit.
