Assigning membergroups...how?

How do I assign individuals to private membergroups?

I can see the groups and see the member list, but can't find where I can put them together.

Admin - Members - Membergroups - Edit Membergroups

Then click on the membergroupname you want to asign new members.
So click on the name on the left site of the page, not on the modify link

Or you go into the member's profile, then their Account Settings.

Thanks. I went into the account profile and was able to do it.

But I couldn't find a way through the edit membergroup area--that was where I'd been looking, I'd tried the modify button next to the group too.

Clicking on Modify isn't right.

What you have to do is click on the *name* of the group, e.g. where it says 'Global Moderator' - that's actually a link.
