I just saw the following error shown twice in my error log. I am using SMF 2.0 RC3

http://address.com/index.php?action=search2
Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message
8: Undefined index: href
Apply Filter: Only show the errors from this file
File: /home/user/forum/Themes/default/Login.template.php (body_above sub template - eval?)
Line: 419

How do i fix this??

kat

Check these out.

It'll save us retyping stuff that's already been typed. ;)

If you have this mod http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=360100.0 you'll need to post in it's support topic.

Hi K@,

Sorry for my late reply, but i checked the posts that you suggested above, and i have no mods installed in my SMF 2.0 RC3. So, i didn't find any solution. I had thought the problem would be gone but then it happened again (twice in my error log) caused by a Guest;

http://forum.org/index.php?action=search2
8: Undefined index: href
File: /home/user/forum/Themes/default/Login.template.php (body_above sub template - eval?)
Line: 486

and the same Guest generated this second error (same IP):

http://forum.org/index.php?action=search2
8: Undefined index: title
File: /home/user/forum/Themes/default/Login.template.php (body_above sub template - eval?)
Line: 487

This is definitely a bug or a possible hacking attempt?

Can you disable the oval, clear the error log, enable it again and post here the errors that will pop up.
You can alternatively upload here the Login.template.php file too.

Hi cicka

Thank you for your quick reply, but how do i "disable the oval"?

I assume that those errors are at your error log and you can acess the Admin Panel. Install this mod.

http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=2054

Otherwise it can be done with a query at phpmyadmin.

Yes it is my own forum, and i have admin access. I will install the mod that you suggested.

However, i do not understand if this is a bug in SMF?? Also, what does this eval thing usually do? And disabling it would not affect anything? If it does not, then what's the point of the eval thing anyway?

Have a look at this link. It is explained in detail there.
