google blog rss feed to smf?

I am trying to get the "post titles only" of a google blog I have fed to my smf 2.0 RC3 version forum.

I tried ezportal rss block, but it wont work because ( I was told) it is an atom feed not rss.

Is there a mod or anything I can use to rss feed my recent 5-8 posts from the google blog to my forum?
