Cannot delete some old files!

Why I can delete the old files from ez portal, theme of smf?

[12:10:01] DELE delete_small.png
[12:10:02] 550 delete_small.png: Permission denied
[12:10:02] DELE smiley.png
[12:10:02] 550 smiley.png: Permission denied
[12:10:02] DELE star.png
.....
I tried whyt smartftp and filezzile no result.

Most probably those files have an ownership issue, and are probably owned by apache instead of you, so you would have to delete them through your hosting control panel, or ask your host to fix the ownership problem.
