I'm a VM user and a developer - request a feature,  searching threads I think there should be an indication if thread has been reply or not. the VM forum does not have many thread with reply it's a waste of time when you click something and has no reply in ICON in Search Results would help.

Well, SMF out of the box will display a [new] icon next to a thread when there are new posts when you're logged in (since it's down to your own personal history of what you've read)

Your site's theme is quite customised so it's possible your theme doesn't have the code in it to display the new icon, but as you'll see here it does work, and works pretty well.

VM forum has the new icon option, I think the poster was referring to posts in search result.
