SMF 1.1.12 novice questions.

Hallo, I am new here and it is also the first time I set up a forum.

So far I did fine as I may say so  , forum is set up and running.

But I have some questions now, and I'm sure there will come more to. 

I installed SMF 1.1.12 and Theme : Mesh  1.14, Tinyportal 10rc1 and Simple Audio Video Embedder 1.0.12

when I go in admin board and go to Forum maintenance - Detailed version check, I get this.
The list was much longer when I copied and paste it then what I saw.
The once with Question marks next to it weren't visible to me, so maybe I don't have to take notice then.

How can I update this ? Is it important to update it ?


And I have another question.
If I go to from error logs, there is a huge list of errors, is that normal ?
Do I have to do something about that ?

Sorry... What Masterd forgot to add was "Then, clear your errors logs, enable the mod and post the new errors that you get".

That's coz "eval" can mask the real error-messages.

Please, attach your Index.template.php here. Don't get confused. Attach the one that you will find in the Themes/mesh_114 directory.

Uninstall Tiny Portal and then install the newest version.

As that error's a database error, I'm almost certain it's Tiny Portal doing this.

Fortunately, the theme's author just happens to have written the code for Tiny Portal, too.

Well, he is the author of Tiny Portal. Just do what K@ said.

My thinking is that the errors are database related.

So, editing files ain't gonna achieve anything, unless the files are calling the wrong functions in the database.

As the database calls are going to be coming from the portal, that's the place to start, I believe.

Although...

As SMF v1.x themes need to be edited, manually, I'm wondering if the manual edits that have been made to that theme, to install TP, could have been made wrongly.

I'm just gonna check that out.

Hmmm... Just checked the edits to index.template.php and there's nothing related, there...

Best to post in the theme's topic, then, I reckon.

Or, perhaps, Tiny Portal's.
