Largest Cause of Bandwidth Usage

I am curious what uses the most bandwidth.  I realize images loading over and over use a lot of bandwidth.  I run a tennis site and I noticed that during the big tournaments the bandwidth went up some but not a ton even if posting went up 5-6 times the normal amount.

I was curious if the spiders cause bandwidth usage.

They do, yes. Anything that's accessing your site uses bandwidth.

As for the *largest* cause, you'd need to be logging the requests at the server level to find that out. Your host will likely be able to help.
