Notification in Spanish?

Golly gosh, not really sure at all where to ask this question, so if it needs moving, please feel free.

I subscribed to the cb|Emailogin mod notifications.

When an update notification was made, I received the notification in Spanish. I checked most forum settings I could think of, but nowhere was I set to a language other than English. The Mod author says this is probably some bug, so I thought I'd ask here.

Any clues?

No buttons show up in Spanish.  The Mod author mentioned that he has his settings to Spanish

My profile language setting is attached in the image.  I don't know if there is an alternate place to check?

that should be the only place. I have never received a notification from this forum in any language other then english, and I get a lot of them.

This is worse than I thought. Today I was looking for something in my spam folder and I found the following Greek message from SMF. I checked the headers against a legitimate message and they look OK, so for some reason I get notifications sent to me in multiple languages.

Yes, I have three more: One in Greek for a total of two in Greek,  and two in Portuguese.

The 4 in my spam folder were from a period when I chose daily notifications (March 5-8) but I stopped that wen I never got a daily notification.

It seems to default to the mod AUTHOR'S language...

That is a distinct possibility. It is only for Modifications that I get this notification in Spanish/Portuguese.
