Why my themes aren't adding to both directories?

Whenever I add new themes, they only get added to my home/forum/themes directory and not to my domain directory. this causes none of the images to show up. I've changed domains recently. How would I go about fixing this?

what do you mean "my domain directory"? themes should always be installed to the themes folder as that is where themes live. have you tried resetting the theme paths in the admin panel?
