SMF Captcha - Request another image reload entire page

Hi,

I have SMF 2.0 RC5, TP and Pretty Urls (if this matter).

As my topic say: If I request another captcha image it reload entire page, what is annoying.
For example at register page if you request another image will reload page and sends you to the agreement again. On forum posts and send PM  is required for fist 5 posts/pm captcha and if you request another captcha image you must write again your text because it reload entire page.

I use default SMF captcha -extreme!

Can someone please help me to solve this problem, to reload only the image, not the entire page ?

This is actually pretty easy to fix up, it is able to be fixed through 1 of your website files, and the captcha image reload is controlled from your admin options. When you installed the captcha program/mod, did every file pass the test, were any red at all? You could double check by going into your installs and disable it, uninstall then reinstall. Also what is your forum version and what is the mod version. Lastly, go into registration settings and try setting the captcha image to a different level and see if that helps. But I think somehow you have somehow set a reload page option, which you didn't realize. I offer my help.

They listed the forum version as well as stated it's the default Captcha and not a mod.

Sorry, yes I noticed that, but I always ask to double check as sometimes people upgrade thier version after making a post, so it is a common question I ask, I hope there is nothing else with my offering to help? Just so you understand, I might be new as registered on this forum, but I am not new to the workings of websites and people still making editions to their websites instantly after making a post trying to find and fix the problem.

Disable pretty urls and try again.  If it works without pretty urls enabled, you'll need to post in the support topic for Pretty Urls so vbGamer can investigate.

SlammedDime you're right, with Pretty urls disabled if I request another captcha image its reload only the image and my post remain intact so i don't must write again my text/post.

By the way, when it is zo pretty easy, why not telling him where to make the edits  and what edits ?
