In SMFPacks_Lite_Likes_Mod.zip open package-info.xml with Wordpad/notepad etc. 

Find

Code Select Expand

<install for="2.0 RC4, 2.0 RC5, 2.0">

Replace with 

Code Select Expand

<install for="2.0 RC4, 2.0 RC5, 2.0, 2, 2.0.4">

and find

Code Select Expand

<uninstall for="2.0 RC4, 2.0 RC5, 2.0">

replace with

Code Select Expand

<uninstall for="2.0 RC4, 2.0 RC5, 2.0, 2.0.4">

Save and zip the file again

Hey, thanks It worked and installed the mod. But now the like button wont appear on posts. And when I click the permissions tab it says it's only available for the pro version :O

Features for LITE Version:
o Like First Post. (As in , ONLY able to like the first post of a topic. )
o Show Total of Likes in Topic Header.
o Show List of Likes in Topics (in same page using Ajax is only available in PRO Version).
o Hide any of above lists easily.
o Total of Likes each People Received can showned (or hide) in Posts and Profile.
o Likes Permission in included.
o Data is cached, so there won't be big issues with performance.
o Fully Curve and 2.0 RC5 Compatible.
o Works on MySQL, Postgresql and SQLite.

So it doesn't work with custom themes ?

Some of the features only work on the pro mod which has to be paid for. I'm not exactly sure what you want. The like button like the attachment?

i was able to get it to install despite the errors.  it turns out the errors were mostly from other nonused themes.

does the lite version support the displaying of user likes in the post?  when i like a post i don't see it like in this photo: http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?action=download;mod=3029;id=192336;image

ive went through all the settings and all of them work correctly so perhaps this isn't a feature in the free lite version?
