Keepalive?

What is it for?  I keep getting something like this in the log: index.php?action=keepalive;xxxxxxxxxxxxx

It keeps the session alive.  You want it, it doesn't take much bandwidth or resources but improves user experience.

my site database was disabled. i asked server stuf he said me "may be your database connet permanently"

Are you running on a shared account?

Toss in a couple of mods and SMF can be hard on database resources - shared accounts aren't always tolerant of the load.

But no, the keepalive function has nothing to do with it.

Just disable persistent connexions in Settings.

yes, that should be enough, unless your site gets an insane amount of traffic.
