Dropped PrettyURLs, used Reverter, Google reporting 1000's 404 pages

My click-through rate has dropped at same rate as impressions have since I made the change. PrettyURLs seemed to be more trouble than it was worth. I expected this but wonder about other experiences. Will Google eventually reindex all my pages under the new, default SMF URLs?

yes in time google should crawl your forum again with the old urls.
