Hey everybody I have seen on other SMForum that when members post a big picture I automatically changes the resolution in the BBCode of the posted picture. Now I want that also so to be on my forum but I can't find out how, how can I do that? Thanks

Greetz,
Ingo

Won't this do it?

Admin -> Features and Options -> Layout -> Max width of posted pictures

Yes, it does.  Does not change size of images already posted, but resizes all new images.

When in Emor, do as the Snamors.

Yup, but wont automatically sort them to fit any resolution. ;)

Seems like just a question of resizing any image to fit post window - why would you want to sort them?

I've had this problem on my family forum, with members posting enormous hi-res raw images from digicams.  Did you know there are tiny hairs on peoples foreheads?

The problem is the size of the post window is not going to be the same for all users. It will vary from around 240px all the way up to 1920 and beyond, depending on monitor and theme. If you want a solution that will work for everyone (which I do) then the code I posted is a simple and effective way of doing it (which is why I use it).

Thank you guys, I have chosen this solution because it was much easier to do.

I have done it and it's working well.

Very thanks both of you guys! ;)
