I am making a theme for one of my forums and I have modified the default theme so it is not as wide and I have also centered it, how would I center the buttions


Also what part of the code would i remove to get the lines circled in red away

the best way to center the buttons would be to edit the menu sub-template, because the function is not being echo'ed.

add the following center tags. (bottom of index.template.php)

the circled red line looks like it's the same one around the forum. You will have to either take that section out of the same class or remove the line attribute from that class altogether.

Thanks tippmaster, are you sure thats correct as the </center> in red above isnt opened, the blue one closes the first one but the red one is that also from the open at the start

yes it's correct. it's a php if/else statement.

one closes the center property for the menubar displayed when one is logged out, one closes it for when one is logged in. 

it will validate just fine, because only one </center> will display at a time. (you cant be logged out and loggen in at the same time)

thanks just worried, next question is how would i center the upshrink

that's not the code at all. That's in the head section. That code is just using a cookie to remeber if the header is collapsed or not.

you want:

look for it right above the comment which says "// Show the menu here, according to the menu sub - template"
