It's so powerful that on this post and even in the two PMs you sent me,you still answered my question very quickly and you're apologizing for the delay. You're the #1 support I've probably ever encountered man, so much respect for that. Thank you, and get better soon.

I'll keep this in my siggy for a while just to remind me that someone appreciated what I did while others didn't.

I mean what the attached screenshot says.

The translation (as it's italian) for it is: impossible to solve domain's name, check your network (done) and your DNS configuration (can't as only my ISP could but it's related to your site as it's the only one not working to me).

Just delete all entry in MySQL database "members".

Dragooon

Well...what about the posts? And what do you mean by reset?

You have to change the auto increment column on the members table.

There is no auto increment column on the members table. In members table is only me with my profile details.

margarett

If you deleted all members and posts, why don't you just reinstall SMF?

margarett

You have to change the auto increment column on the members table.

ALTER TABLE smf_members AUTO_INCREMENT = 2
Assuming that your user is ID 1 and that your prefix is smf_

Wild idea, this... Assuming that you don't have a backup to restore, have you asked your host if they have one?

MESWEB

I have Direct Admin. Smf installed from INSTALLATRON. I setup Auto Backup but I dont know wher is backup file.

Is working. Thanks.

Kindred

If you deleted things directly in the database, then you have likely screwed things up as well..

unless you know exactly what you are doing, you should never do that - because there are multiple inter-related tables involved with both members and messages.

It was abit exteme to delete the whole "smf_members" (assuming your forums database prefix is smf_) table, when you could have just manually done this on the forums. More time consuming I know, but ALOT safer and would have been considerably less problematic.
