If this was posted somewhere, sorry but I did not find it. I only found some mobile versions requests, which is not the point of this suggestion.

I'm not particularly fond of mobile browsing, but being so popular it is hard to just ignore it. Even forum communities will always have people that browse their forums on those tiny things.

It could make things easier for those who want to make mobile versions of their forums if the forum gave a little more support to it. In specific, just a small interface in the admin menu to let you add/modify mobile sheets. It would basically create the links in the html for you, then let you edit like you edit other files. You could also be able to change which width you're targeting in that interface and create the css for that.

You can do this already, so this is just to make the job easier/easier to manage your changes without need to go around editing the templates. Also for people to see the option is there, they just have to use it. Not everyone will think about editing the source or know it can be this simple.

I do not think it would be as beneficial to have a mod for it, if you're already looking on mod installation for something like this, you're better off just changing the template.

I guess that would explain why I didn't find it, but then again, is that a mod? As I said, I think this is better off as a main feature since it involves just plain support to different devices, and this would just be an interface to manage that better, nothing more.

I guess maybe some would prefer just a mobile version of the main theme instead, but I think a better managing of it would be more useful.
