How to remove " View the most recent posts on the forum." Link from starts smf?

Anyone can tell me it is possible to remove that " View the most recent posts on the forum." link from the starts of the smf forum and please tell me if there any way to do that or some install mods..?

That is defined in BoardIndex.template.php and can be a bit different depending on the theme you're using. In default theme, this is the code:

<a href="', $scripturl, '?action=recent">', $txt['recent_view'], '</a>
But you might need some extra work to remove the line break that is left behind (because it depends on several conditions)
