Hello
My group uses SMF 1.1 RC3 forum and we ran into a problem with space in one of the posting areas. Do you know how to alleviate this without throwing anything away?
Thanks
Karen

Omg...

You are almost a decade.. And 22 or more revisions behind.  You ABSOLUTELY MUST UPGRADE ASAP.

As for your issue, I have no idea what you mean by "we ran into a problem with space..."
If you got an error, then you will need to tell us the actual error.

However, there is very little support we can give such an ancient and outdated version... Not the least of which reason is, the entire 1.1.x version path is at end of life and support will soon be discontinued compketely.

Thanks for letting me know about upgrading.  We are in the process of upgrading.
The error message we received is "the upload file is full". Does that mean there is not any more space left?

The upload file is full?

I don't recall that ever being one of the text strings in SMF itself.

Is the error inside of SMF (with the header, etc) or is it a white screen sort of error with only that text showing? Is it in the smf error log? Is it in the server error log?
Can you take a screen shot of the error?

When, specifically, do you get this?
When attempting to make a post in a specific board?
when attempting to make a post in ANY board?
Only when using attachments?
something else?
