Color Picker Palette to replace color dropdown in 2.0.*

Hacks Park Color Picker looked to be ideal for what I've been asked to imagine for my 2.0.12 forum.

Sadly, despite my best efforts to force compliance (and hence manually install the mod) there are so many differences between the 2.0 RC1 and 2.0.* editors (and generic controls templates) that the innards of this mod simply cannot be applied.

So.. my question is as follows:

Does anyone know of a similar paletting color picker/chooser that could be applied to (or coerced into) a 2.0.12 installation?
