I'd say you are wasting your time developing it for anything other than 1.1 RC1. I expect the vast majority of 1.0.5 users to upgrade when 1.1 final is released.

I must agree.  I estimate it will take me a month to hack 1.1 final to the point I don't lost any popular features in my primary forum, but still I plan to upgrade.  Don't be fooled by the small increasement in minor version.  The better I understand it, the more I want to upgrade.  There's simply too many much needed improvements.

What kind of improvements? 

I've been looking for an SMF roadmap or something that would provide some sort of indication as to what is planned for future versions.  The curiosity is killing me!

I haven't been able to upgrade because my forum simply has too many small upgrades that SMF fails to accomodate each new version.  I can't afford to start over.

I don't foresee upgrading from 1.0.5 until SMF hits a version that really impresses me and makes it worth all the trouble.  But then by that time, the next version will probably be out and I'll be in the same position :/  I'll be very impressed the day SMF can be more accomodating to upgraders.

I voted 1.0.5 because my forum makes heavy usage of your mod.

I would take 1.1 b3 off from there.  I would narrow it down to 1.1 and 1.0.x.

1.1b3 and 1.1RC1 are exactly the same to my mod. 1.0.5 is mostly the same as well, there are just a few template differences. I'll keep developing for 1.0.5 and 1.1 for a while. Thanks for you help everyone

Thats why I'm saying.  Just keep it 1.1 and 1.0.x since the big change is from 1.0.x to 1.1 not form 1.1 b3 to 1.1 rc1.  Also most of the people running b3 will upgrade to new versions rc1, rc2 and then final.
