I would like to be able to set a permision level to a tread or usergroup.

example:

now:
If i as admin lock a tread. And then moderator can open it again.

then:
If i lock a tread and give a level to it. The moderator now can't unlock it because te permision level is to high for him.

Example 2:

Now:
If a moderator posts something. And another moderator can changes the post.

then:
If a moderator posts something. And other moderator wands to change it he can't. Because he is in the same usergroup. The moderator group doesn't have the permission to change a post of somebody with the same or higher permisions.

Hope my feature request was clear enough :)

Sounds interesting. Here's my idea of how the first thing should be done:

When locking the post, allow admins to choose who can "un-lock" it (ie enter the name(s) of the user(s) or membergroup(s) who can unlock it or check a box saying that only the admin can unlock that post).

Now, I'm not real sure why the second one would be useful, but maybe someone else will understand.

I have few mods who like to edit eachothers posts.. now there mad at eachother for doing so. If the don't have the option to edit crew member posts then they will not fight eachother. :)

or..
(a,b,c are groups)

A you may moderate A
B you may moderate B
C You may not moderate C

Giving permisions to moderate per group.
Sigh...
