Hello, I run an online debating forum at http://www.debatingonline.org/ and am trying to set up a couple of new BBC codes for use as Proposition and Opposition when people post. I've got a vague idea on how to go about this, but I don't want to start until someone here gives me the "go-ahead" and tells me it is alright and not going to mess anything up.

This is just an example of something I've put together to show the proposition image:

'~\[for\](.+?)\[/for\]~i' => isset($disabled['for']) ? '<p alight="right"><img src="http://www.debatingonline.org/path/to/image.gif" alt="Proposition Supporter"></ p>' : '<for>$1</for>',

I actually have no idea if this would work for images...but I would assume so; but then again I'm pretty much a newbie to SMF. Thanks in advance :)

Well, it seems like it would work.  I'm not used to the 1.0.7 code, (I use 1.1RC2 myself) and I've added quite a few different BBC code tags to the forum.  This looks like it would work.
