Signature countdown with image

Id like to make coundown script similar way as this stats script is http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=46408.0

So there would be image and bottom of that would be countdown text '1 days, 2 hours and 33 seconds to blah blah'. Any tips?
