Description field without any characters

I need to users not need to put any word in description field.They can only leave a title and description not need to be filled. How to do that?

why would you want a user to make a reply to a topic without anything in the message?

To be honest, that makes no sense to me at all.

in short, you can not do that.  a message MUST have text in the title AND the body

i dont see that listed as something that may be fixed in a future version.

so even though the bug report says the code i had posted to fix this in the username registration process was removed [for 2.1], the issue may still exist.

No idea where this is at, it's a dev thing.
