Where in the template could this image be?

look in your image file folder for a folder called img i.e.   /images/img

I found, made a copy, made the changes but then, could not upload it again. 
I used the file manager of the cpanel.

sorry i dont understand how you couldnt upload it again to your server thru your cpanel - did it give you any errors?

I am sorry, I was answering a different question up there. I did find the image and replaced it with one without the rocks.
