I checked my forum files and found some things:
1. php.ini has 644 permission
2. i.ini has 644 permission

For example, if i enter www.mywebsite.com/php.ini
I am able to see it o.o.
Is it ok that everyone can see php.ini and i.ini etc?

i.ini?

Where'd that come from?

My php.ini is 755, if that helps.

Joazo

i.php is the phpinfo. can it be removed or what?

Illori

you can remove it with no problem, for security it might be best to not have it on your server, even though it might be able to be found with that name.

Usually php.ini is NOT located in any of your web accessible folders, and if you do have it there you might want to ask your host about it really.
