Blank page on specific topic after an end user added huge attachments

Hello everybody,

I would have one question for you as yesterday, I had to check an issue on my forum for which one of the topic in a specific board leads to a blank page.
The link syntax is as follows : http://mywebsite/index.php?topic=7827.0

I could connect to the phpmyadmin portal and retrieve the relevant topic number (7827) with all its relations to the attachments posted in the "smf_attachments" table in the database so I assume that  the topic ID is correct.
The only thing I know is that the end user wanted to upload a big picture whose size was at least 4 Mb but to no avail.

Is it possible that a page display can get corrupted after having attempted to upload a large picture ?

Despite I do not know how to repair this broken link, I had to export all the messages related to this topic from the database in order to create a brand new topic with a new topic ID so that page can be displayed again.
