Yep it works now, all avatars are back!
but i found a easy way to go around the download permission tho. Just right click on the attachment url and choose to open the file in a new tab or a new window and the download manager (IE8) will start downloading the image.

The file is cached by your browser try pressing CTRL+F5 on that page after logging out

i just tested and cleared all temp files and choose a image that i never used before and i could open it in a new tab and a new window. but i did get the error message by just licking on the link or image

edit: oh it also works by just right clicking on the image name and save as.

Please try pasting the link on a different browser  I still believe it's still cached by your browser

i just tried the same thing with firefox and safari on another wallpaper section ( http://forum.dailymobile.se/index.php/topic,57.0.html ) with the same results

When I visit the forum as guest, I can see the previews (as promised), but when I click an attachment link I see this error at a blanc screen:

The database value you're trying to insert does not exist: user

I upgrade the script from rc1 to 3

and setup a group for members with download rights for paid subscriptions, disable download rights for "normal" members and done.

Hi  I enabled Paid membership.    I have your mod, love it.      I only allow members to download.   So if someone is a visitor and clicks on a picture,  it says,  "you must register, etc etc".   So they register.  Then click, and it says "you do not have permission etc".     I only allow paying members to download.   So,  after someone registers,  how can I change the wording of that pop up, and have it say,  You must pay for a membership to be allowed to download?

And how do I change the message when someone is a guest?

Thanks for this great mod. I do face a problem.
It works perfectly for guest. However, when a registered member with no permission tries to click on the thumbnail, the thumbnail disappears. It should show an error box stating that the member does not have permission to view. An error message will show if the member clicks on the image filename, but not on the thumbnail.

How can I fix this missing error message on thumbnail for registered member with no permission?
