I was just thinking about it.
Although it might now seem like a big deal, it might be nice to have some larger boxes for the code you enter for the PHP, HTML, and BBC code blocks.

I completely agree with this. I was meaning to add the extendable box like the post box, for the SMF 2 Beta versions (they aren't public yet). Although it would be nice to have something similar for the SMF 1.1.x versions. I will add this to our project tracker and we will see what we can do for the next version.

Sweet, sounds like a good plan. Especially for the BB code block. I dont generally go in to notepad or something and then premake the BB code for the block I want, although I can see people using notepad to edit HTML or PHP code for the blocks. It would just be a lot easier to find things in notepad, even with a larger box to edit the codes.

It didn't work.

What didn't work? You'll have to make manual edits for that theme to work properly. Two or three if I recall.

If I had more time, I'd handle it but...not a biggy


I've got my default theme copied and the copy is tweaked the way I like it. It took me forever to do that. (I'm not good with themes. Wish I was though,...I'd have a copy of the default rigged up for autumn, halloween, Christmas and new year's.)

i want use the side boxes but i don't want use the index.php. I want my users enter and dont see index.php i want everybody use index.php?action=forum  by defaulf home page.

So you want to use blocks in your forum? At the moment Simple Portal doesn't have that, although we are currently developing it.

I installed your Portal very nice and simple but i have one problem i cannot find anymore the button FORUM (from menu BAR is missing )  i dont understand what happened some help ?

That's because the portal, like other mods, is only applied to the SMF dfault theme.

You have to edit custom themes, manually. That's why none of the images show, too.
