As I've said in other threads, I'm not an expert.

And seriously, this is a really big job. You have to manage extra Javascript, plus storing this in the database, meaning you have to modify a combined total of something like 6 different scripts because you have to modify the collapse action as it is already is, and then you actually have to add it into the theme, making it another script to be edited.

You might get some support if you post the request in Help Wanted if you're prepared to pay for it.
