SMF and Joomla connection - login problem

I spent a few hours on this forum and haven't found any solution so I decided to register and ask a question:

I have all latest stable files of Joomla/CB/SMF. So far all works OK, but there is a problem when I try to log-in. I use swf-mod to log in and it loges in in joomla, and shows 0/0 new messages, but when I click on that (or just go to forum) I am not logged in there... I have website in
Http//mysite/website
and forum on
Http//mysite/forum

Can this be the problem? DO I need to put forum to Http//mysite/website/forum?

I tryed to move it but then there are some problems with forum and I can't do anything on it, I tryed to change in SMF options  "SMF Directory" but when I save it goes back to old path...

OK, I solved with deleting forum, and installing new one in Http//mysite/website/forum
